HOW I ROLL

Learn to make sushi with your family and friends, or coworkers!

You will learn the basics and craft of what goes into making sushi in a 2 hour session. The class will cover the style of rolling sushi and the ingredients: sushi rice, vinegar, nori, and fish.

Fresh ingredients will be provided for the selected rolls (total of 4 styles of rolls). Supplies will be provided: cutting board, sushi knife, and bamboo mat. Supplies can be purchased for an additional cost.

With holidays season approaching, we kindly request you call in booking 30 days in advance. We can hold workshop in your home, venue, or at a corporate venue. Class is charged on an individual basis with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 20 guests. (Dining components can be added for an additional fee)

For lessons, we set up our class times to meet your group schedules. You select the time that works best for you! Most of our students select a time that will allow them to eat their sushi creations for lunch or dinner. For lunch, we recommend an 11AM appointment. For dinner, we suggest 5:00PM for a weekday.

What Will We Do?

Our instructor will come to your home or venue with all the necessary tools and ingredients to teach you how to make your very own four styles sushi rolls and all participants will make their sushi right along with us! Best of all, everyone eats what they make.  We will learn how to make sushi rice, how to prepare fish and vegetables for maki sushi and how to make both regular and inside-out rolls.
